AnthroBase has an extensive collection of texts on Central and Eastern Europe. Our categories Post-communist anthropology and Eastern Europe include texts by Janine R. Wedel on corruption and by Galina Lindquist on money and magic in Russia.
Some of the texts, such as Finn Sivert Nielsen's text on Russian identity and Soviet nation building, deal with the Soviet times, but most of the texts examine current themes such as nuclear power in Lithuania, business in the Baltic States and Russia, journalism in Serbia, and shamanism in Mongolia .
